After a couple weeks of teasing a new lesson I managed to finish The Windmills Of Your Mind from The Thomas Crown Affair. It became a slightly bigger project when I realized I should start with an accompaniment version before moving on to the solo version. I also decided I needed to watch the 1968 movie as well, which was a treat! The solo version is not too difficult, especially if you have a little experience combining chords and a melody into this type of chord solo.

We had our first weekly winner of the 3-Minute 30-Day Challenge and a set of Santa Cruz Guitar Strings will be on its way to its new home on a Santa Cruz OM.

We opened registration to our Fall International Guitar Camp this week, and have a couple openings still for the Spring Camp (April 23-26). The Spring IGC is limited to 18 campers in order to let every attendee get some one-on-one time with every teacher. The ratio is 18 campers and 5 teachers with a huge variety of talents and skills.

Today's touch on theory went a little into barre chord families and triad reductions (3 strings only) that were used heavily in The Windmills Of Your Mind.

Next week I may follow up on that a bit.
