I have been entrenched in Beatles songs lately (again, or for about the 500th time) and can't imaging another band or artist who has more to offer to guitar students in terms of number of songs that are fun to play and offer techniques to master. The variety and breadth of their compositions is absolutely unmatched by any other songwriters/performers of the last 100 years or so, at least.
This week we are running a special sale on our Beatles Super Pack, thirty of their best guitar songs as voted on by our TG Community many years ago.
I played bits and pieces of some of their tunes today, along with a composition of mine that has some changes borrowed, or at least inspired by some Beatles songs. A connection was described between my piece Paprika and Things We Said Today. Things got wrapped up with one of Lennon's iconic masterpieces, post Beatles.
