This week I planned to do more playing than talking but ran into an unforeseen obstacle when I picked up the guitar this morning to test out some Hot Tuna and Jorma Kaukonen tunes. After an extended warm up routine, a little physical therapy, and nail work I was about ready to give it a go. I let too many things get in the way of playing for way too many days, even weeks, and had to get some skills back. Don't let this happen to you!

Last week we ran a special on our Guitar Geography Pack. It was well received by quite a lot of our members and that has led us to continuing down the music theory path. This week's special is our Music Fundamentals Pack, over 10 hours of instruction starting with some very basic stuff, then getting into chords in keys and even modes.

Music today included excerpts from Keep Your Lamps Trimmed And Burning, Death Don't Have No Mercy, Keep On Truckin', Winin' Boy Blues, That'll Never Happen No More, Want You To Know, and probably a few that I forgot. There were complete versions of The Fisherman and Classical Gas.
