Thanks Daz (The Aussie version of Daryl...hope you don't mind). Yeah the B and C barres are tough, generally I have them, now and then not quite clear but OK. I feel comfortable using them so they can only get better.

Jim thanks man. I've enjoyed your recent busking vids with Stu.

Willem I love "I'm on Fire" as well....let's see. Maybe you will do it?

Suzi Glad you like it. Really glad. Don't have the box set yet....same reason as you!

Shel you got me off my bum after we spoke yesterday. I's nice to do something for a friend.

Thereshopeyet...for you...and for me. Thanks bro.

Chris thanks mate. Without being narcissistic I thought it was a good fit for me also. I'm not always happy with how I sound but I was with this one.

Hey Ness thank you very much. I was doing "The River" but I can't sing it with justice I think. He is the Boss that's for sure!

Marc thanks mate. Yes I think what I am doing, reinforcing with my middle finger is probably a bad habit to get into. I will work on what you suggest.

Tony,

Great job!! Very nice surprise for me this evening watching this. I'm in Virginia(600 mile from NH) at a good friends house who is a huge Springsteen fan and he loved this performance by you. I totally agree. Your strumming gets better with each and every performance from you. Bb..... Ouch!! I would have passed on this song because of that chord. Well done in getting that one down. I've been tinkering with a Springsteen song for a while. Now that there is a thread for it I'll try and get it out when I get home in a few days. Its great to see another video from you as they are always enjoyable.

Nice job, Tony, really enjoyed that. Good playing technique and some tricky chords - and vocally right on the button. Great post and great way to start the Springsteen thread. I agree with you on the vocals for The River........too damned hard. Of course, that still leaves too many to choose from! However, I may have something up my sleeve ........

Gee Tony, you got me to listen to Springsteen again this evening!

I purchased the Born in the USA-album when I was maybe 12/13 years old, loved it, my favorite has always been Downbound Train, such a beautiful and sad song....thanks for reminding me....maybe I'll give it a go... :)

Ness..

As it so happens Downbound Train is one of my favourites too, Vanessa - it's a great song that's really well suited to an acoustic version. But I'm not going to race you for it! I'm thinking of something a little darker.........

I wonder if we're limited to one song per thread. This could become a lifetimes work.

Hi Tony, you had only hit three strokes into this song and it was already clear to me that it was going to be a great ride.
A "fire in your belly" emotion comes through in both your voice and strumming. Loved it.

Pierre
