Sorry this slipped by me, Craig.

Thanks for the look- I'm not familiar with this tune or the lesson.. need to check it out.
I'm working on another barre chord workout- 'Love Street'. MAN it's tiring!

Anyways, thanks for sharing.

Hey Al, thanks for taking a look. I like Pink Floyd and I need work on barre chords so it seemed like a natural. Check out the lesson, it's a great song for working on a variety of skills. I only played a portion (parts 4 & 7) of it, there are actually 9 parts total! I think my nexy barre chord workout will be The Police's Roxanne.
thanks again,
Craig

Craig,

Sorry to be so late responding.

Sounds pretty damn good to me and you look to have those barre chords licked, even the A-shaped ones unless I'm not seeing it properly. I'm SOOOoo jealous.

Nice job.

Michele

Hi Michelle!
Thanks for watching and I really appreciate your postive comments on my barre chords! I've tried to spend a little time working on them. Your encouragement helps my confidence and means a lot to me coming from a great player like yourself!
Thanks again,
Craig
P.S. I like the new avatar! :)

Craig. You put this up 2 weeks ago and I missed it. Got it now though, there is nothing iffy about this, it is coming along really well. I liked that descending part on the F# or G? It is similar to a part of the Beatles "something". Anyway, great job! Cool to see you talk at the beginning, I think this is the first video of I have seen from you. I look forward to the next one. Juanlla ,
Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate it. There are a lot of parts to this song. Hopefully I can incorporate the blusey lead stuff at the beginning someday. But as always, a work in progress!

Beaker,
Thanks for watching, it's easy for the long busking threads to slip by. Thanks for the encouragement, it helps in the confidence department!
I also think it's cool when we start to recognize small parts of songs in another song, makes me feel like I might actually be learning something! Thanks again.

Craig, I too just saw this video of yours. Looks pretty good to me. I can relate to youre comment about finger picking is sometimes easier than strumming. I too have worked more on strumming lately. Partiucularly precision picking/strumming as in chord solos and such. I need to get a much better grasp on controlling my pick.

Your selection of a lot of barre chords would have been a tough one for me. Again, I think you did just fine.

John- that was outstanding! I really enjoyed that. Your vocals were particularly good and your steady guitar work added a great feel to the song.

I need to research the vocal software you are using. That is really cool!

Thanks for sharing! :cheer:

p.s. I just checked out that TC Helicon voicelive 2. That is a serious piece of hardware, not software as I thought! WOW, you've got a serious setup with your PA system and other gear! Way cool! I'm jealous!! :)
