Chris,
A bit late to the party! What a pretty song! Not a Moody Blues song that i'd ever heard, but I really like it. Excellent playing- especially that riff! Wow! And, as always, your voice sounds great.
I liked your comment to Dennis about lying between your speakers. Glad to hear that I wasn't the only person who used to do that!

Busking Moody Blues
Chris,
I really liked your video - nice work on mixing everything. I have never really been a Moody Blues fan (outside of Knights in White Satin hit of course) but years ago when I was playing bass in a local group we did Story in Your Eyes which I have come to love. It's another A-minor tune which I think you said you prefer playing. Not sure which album it is on. I would like to see if you have any desire to try that one next perhaps to keep the thread going.

Chris!
Just saw this and had to say how much I enjoyed it!
This is one of those songs that- even though I've never heard it before- it feels like I've always known it- if you know what I'm saying.
Great strumming, AND PICKING on your 12. This could be my fave of yours as well.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Al! If the song came over like that, it's a real pleasure for me!
Many thanks Scott! We already PMed on Story in Your Eyes.
Thanks for tuning in Suzi! Those were the days eh, mattress on the floor speakers either side... ah! This is that son I mentioned way back in Pm when you asked what I was working on. Glad you like it.

Hey Chris,
I had another look this morning to really appreciate the tune and you did such a great job of it. Don't know if I will ever be a true MB fan, but if not it won't be because of you, that was great.
Must confess I'm keen to hear a bit more about Valerie and Hollywood!

Haha, I thought kinda the same as Daryl: 'Pretty impressive playing with a pick! Huh , he didn't use one!'
So yeah, great guitarplaying Chris! And actually to be honest I enjoyed that song a lót better done by you. Not sure if you take that as a compliment, but it definitely is, very well done!

Many thanks Craig and Tony! Yeah, we need to hear more about Valerie and Dennis' Hollywood days.
Thanks Vanessa, that is a great compliment indeed!

Hi Chris, sorry to be late. I knew the song and really enjoy the singing and the riff (picked with your finger but sounded like a pick). You definitely have a great voice for the MB. The fact they are you favorite must help with the intensity of your singing.
