Busking Love Songs
Bill- Thank you! I thought you might appreciate a sweet little Hawaian tune! And I'm glad you give my C# a thumbs up 
I did my best, though I don't think I'll be putting that note into my regular repertoire. Don't worry about the late response. I find that I keep missing new songs posted to the busking threads since it's not clear when a new one is added. Anyway, better late than never, and I always appreciate your support and kind words.
Dermot- This has been a very fun thread and I'm glad Michele thought to start it. Lots of great songs here. I'm glad you liked my beginner's attempt at playing the uke. It sure is a fun little instrument.

Nessa and Willem, Simply wonderful. I agree that we need an alert for when a new songs comes up. I missed a number of new post on these threads. Perhaps it would be better to post the busking thread my song rather than by the group.

Just wanna thank you all for checking this one out as well!
This was about an hour before Willem had to leave, so we were kinda in a hurry to get it done, once again the camera-nerves made it hard for us not to giggle, haha, so because of all that Willem said at the end: Well, Í think this is just fine! So we sure appreciate you've enjoyed it too!

just watched youre bon jovi (diamond ring) post,i really enjoyed that,in fact watched it a few times,thats the first time ive heard that song you really did it justice,ive got a full guitar day tomorrow and ime dropping everything and learning that FIRST THING,so i will be taking the chords from watching youre vid,(so we will be jamming tomorrow hahahahaha ) all kidding aside ive watched a few of youre posts now and have to tell you,you have a fantastic voice for the acoustic something i defo wasnt blessed with,there are a few good singer,players on this site to be fair and you are defo up there girl,

Just for fun! My 8 year old daughter received a ukulele for Christmas this year. I figured she wasn’t going to learn it on her own, so I set about trying to learn how to play it. Thankfully, TG has a few great ukulele lessons, including one on this Hawaiian classic. WOW!!! That was sooooo cool. It is amazing that you picked it up so quickly. The playing and singing were just perfect. And your C# has never sounded better! Thanks so much for posting 'Pearly Shells", it sure brought a big smile to my face.
Yeah, dang I missed this too. This was really cool Suzi!!! I'm with Bill. You did great on this. Nothing like the sound of a uke...makes me want to go buy one. So mellow, bright, and Hawaiian. Reminds me of grandma who played one and was a sweet lady...but I digress. great job Suzi and thanks for this cheery post. I like your stuff a lot because I'm never quite sure what you're going to come up with. And, that is most definitely a good thing.

A uke is a minor splurge, so I'd say go buy one! They sure are fun to play.
