Chris:

Great idea you have going here. I don't really feel I can do much to help you with my meager skills other than to root for you. I am excited to hear the final product. Just as a note, you and Andy could play with a capo at different locations and see about harmonizing it..... Kind of like the whole Hotel California thing.......Not sure, just throwing it out there..... Might sound kinda neat.... B)

Hey MJ, cheering supporters are welcome! You are right this is open to playing in G F C with a guitar tune down a half step and a second guitar capoed at 1 using E D A ... could be interesting.

Getting there already Chris, what do you think about one guitar struming tuned down half step, 2nd struming capoed and a third appregiating the chords to fill the gaps then of course a bass rythm and some leads from a electric guitar in the the higher key ? Just my thoughts so far, sounds like a lot to put together !!!!

Hey Mark, that sounds like it could work. Chas was saying he may have some Tab for that arpeggio part. Maybe we could rig a small demo with some of these ideas mixed. What possibilities do you have? We need just 30 seconds or so. That would be cool, MP3 or video, just a short demo.
Who is able to mix something on audacity or similar?

It would be good if collaborators send me their personal email address through TG mail.

Here's the chord sheet. http://www.totallyguitars.com/images/fbfiles/files http://www.totallyguitars.com/images/fb ... 100211.doc

Chris- I just have to comment on the room you filmed that in. Is that in your house? It looks so beautiful and sunny!

That's just between the open dining room and living room with a non white wall for better contrast
And.... how about some doing some backing vocals with Izzy for us? Huh? Huh? Please! :)

I told Fred already I don't know what a bong is... and he's referring to the hi-tech de-corking device behind me... behind that is some strange wooden thing, no idea what it is.

Chris, I would be willing to try coming in with a little harmony on a few of the parts where appropriate. I think if you carried the lead, I could come in and provide the lower part of the harmony, we whould have to determine which parts it would work best (if at all) it would also be nice to have a female voice providing some harmony in the same parts as I do or maybe a seperate part. Since you have the song mostly in your head and kinda know what you are looking for it would pretty much be on you to determine where you need harmony and what type of voice you would be looking for. I'm at work and just saw this so I haven't had an opportunity to really see where I feel I could add some harmony that would benefit the song, also you may be looking for something different as a vocal back up than what I could provide, as you mentioned in one of your posts re: you friends mentioning you have "a sweet voice" in other words better for some songs than others that may be the case with my voice in this song, however it works out I'll be fine with whatever you decide. I could have fun just watching this develop. I'll know a lot more when I have a chance to sing along with your post (at home) and see if I even like what I can add harmony wise. Gary

Hi Gary... now as I was doing that second video clip and had to sing an octave lower... I could hear you doing that. So maybe that's an idea: sing the whole song an octave lower than I'm doing it and we'll see how we mix. As I'm getting more and more feedback and ideas here... I can even imagine us mixing what we have and doing more than one version. Why not? Let's let everyone who wants, contribute and then sort it out in the mix. I'd certainly love to have you sing this Gary. I hope we have some female backing too.
