Al great job on this song. I really like your version of this. You're just exploding with all of these songs.

This thread is off to a great start!

Rod - fantastic job. You're a natural at those blues riffs - you make them look a lot easier than they are.

Al - another solid job, on a great song choice. I like the personal touches you put on this to make it your own.

I did both parts. Just a second pass on the micro unit.

Willem,

Very, very nicely done. I can see that there's a huge amount of work that you've put into this song, and it shows with the confidence you display when playing it.

One thing I noticed (only because I count out the tempo as you play) is that there is sometimes a hesitation in between chord changes that throws you off tempo. Go back and watch your video and count out the tempo, and I think you'll see what I mean.

But otherwise, this is a really solid effort from you -- one of your best.

Hey Willem, BRAVO!!!

D is right. Your playing eighth notes,( It's been awhile sense I played this tune.) You are playing eight beats per chord. But you added a rest beat between the chord changes. The last note in the chord is open ( I think )That's were the chord change happens. And the lead, the intro starts on beat 5 of the G chord. Now when I play it,I start with a bend and not a slide.Sounds like it's all there, and the parts sound good. Just a small timing thing.BRAVO!!! Willem. And loved the way you left it with the sign off with love to the wife.Like Charlie Pride say in he's song. ( kiss and angle good morning,And love her like the devil when she gets back home.)

Great line Kevin,,

I did not put a metronome against it,,neither did I count(I should do both or play against the original),what I tryed was playing 8 notes and 8 per chord (only not on the D chords, that ends up with a 1/4..and trying this all with a steady mood..when I tryed! to sing it I got aware that I played it to slow,,,I thought that the lead starts on beat 1-2and(on the and of two),,,thx Kevin..

Willem

ps. still learning
