Chris- that was simply fantastic!! I thoroughly enjoyed that and your musical composition was really effective.

Of course, I may be the biggest Moody Blues fan in the world next to you! Keep 'em coming. That was really cool! Bravo!

Cheers! :cheer:

Many thanks for listening in and for the very kind comments Bob, Tony and Bear.

I've been enjoying your vids too Bob!

Tony, I am now on a mission to find you a Moodies song you might want to play. This could be tough!

Bear, this is a compliment indeed..getting the nod from you and Bill on the Moody Blues is big praise indeed! :-) Just need to give my self a clap to complete the TG Moody Blues Fan Club vote! And before Chas says anything, I did write a clap! ;-)

Hi Chris,

Thanks for sharing this -- and all the detail on how you made it. I really enjoyed seeing how you'd developed the layers on this simple progression. And, of course, it's always a pleasure to hear you sing. The counter singing in the last 30 seconds or so was terrific. Can't wait to listen with headphones.

Thanks for the Wammy Tammy ;-). Bill, thanks my friend the song was played in honour of you and Bigbear as true blue Moodie fans!

Thanks Stuart, the singing was so much fun to do as it grew track for track. There were 30 tracks there in the end but it could be done with 10 if planned properly.
The words to that song have been floating around my head fro 35 years so it was nice to get them out at last!

Well I decided to take Chris' challenge and do a Moody Blues tune, even though they are not a favourite of mine I do like this tune. I decided to pick it rather than strum. I thought about a capo but decided I could manage it. Hope I haven't butchered the tune for genuine fans of MB.

PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

Love it Tony, being a long time fan of MB myself, I find this thread to be great. You sure do justice to the song. Love the sound of your guitar and singing is excellent. I remember being the only fan of MB in my group of friends, after a few years they eventually start appreciating .

Tony,

One little nudge and you're off and running... an ice hockey puck comes to mind.

Very nice performance. Lots of feeling and very pretty picking.

I didn't think I'd see YOU doing a Moody Blues tune. Chris and Bear must have performed some sort of mind magic on you.

Good to see you back posting. It reminds me to do the same. Thanks for the inspiration.

Keep them coming. And good one on turning the tables. So Bear does a Boss tune now right, wasn't that the bargain during TG Live? It was early, my memory fails me.

Shel
