Ahhh...difficulty....I see. Well I avoid A-shaped barre chords like the plague, because I just can't get my third finger to hinge like that. And I guess that is the perfect way to ensure I never will be able to. Willem's Bb looked relaxed too.
BTW - Willem received a permission slip from me before he posted to do creative counting of the chords. I think we're calling it 4-ish. A copy of the original is around here somewhere. I'll post it when I find it.

Daryl I think Wimbledon could use your services. B)

I’ve been enjoying this thread so much and really wanted to contribute something to try to keep the ball rolling. The first idea I had was to do a version of Land Down Under in honor of MIchele. The song really does fit the theme of this thread, with only 4 chords (Bm, A, G and D). But I just couldn’t get that percussive, reggae strum to sound good. Plus, when I found out what “chunder” meant I decided it wasn’t the right song for me to sing. :S However, that song got me looking at other 80s hits, and I stumbled upon this song. I’ll confess straight out that it exceeds the chord limit, having a whopping 6 chords in it. However, most of the song is played with 3 chords (G,F and C) and all the chords are easy, open chords. Even the F is played as a little F (or at least that’s how I played it).
I also thought, given the recent “exposure” of some of our fellow Tgers, that the theme of this song was appropriate.

Suzi,
This is BRILLIANT!!!! I have a huge smile on my face. I LOVE everything about this video. SO good to see you here sweet woman. You sure have turned into the performer.
TG boys in the buff ...
... Who knew they were so inspirational.
...
Great fun song choice with easy chords to boot, great rhythm (I'm sure the pick was blurring And your fingers too with those super quick chord changes - oops ...I probably should say plectrum since I've already talked about boys in the buff so as not to set the Dutchies off giggling). I LOVED your singing and the cheekiness of your engagement with the audience. Great performance all round
I do LOVE all of your posts Sue, but this is right up there with my favorites.
Really fabulous fun!!!
LOVED IT!

Hey, if I'd known that seeing naked guys is all it takes to inspire you to sing, I would have, uh ... taken, uh ... suggested, uh, that some guys take their clothes off sooner. Funny that it didn't have that reaction with Michele.
Anyway, I couldn't help thinking, as I was watching you play, how casually you mastered a strum that would have befuddled you only a year ago -- especially with added vocals. You're making it all look easy now. And this may be the best job you've done with vocals.

AHHhhhaHA!  Of all the songs on this soggy mud ball, we call earth... I never would of guessed you'd put this up!!! Heehhhaha!!
TOTALLY RADICAL!!!! (in keeping with the 80s vibe) I loved your performance...both playing & singing. Even though this is a "pass-the-guitar-around" and see what happens sort of thread...I absolutely love where your confidence level is with the instrument; while singing, at the same time!!! (You're light years ahead of me on that...needless to say.) I have heard you knock your riff/lick playing a time or two, but i gotta say that intro wasn't too shabby at all! You should be proud of yourself. I am proud of you and I would suspect most others are
too...GREAT JOB!!

And NICE Song choice...Way to keep it: fun, unpredictable, & light-hearted! You surprised the heck outta me with this one!!
I really like your original song choice to honor the matriarch of this whacky thread. If you don't mind, I might, consider taking a stab at that one. (That is IF Krista is into it?)
Reggae Beat? Hmmm ya got me curious...might have to take a look.
Great JOB SUZ!! (Don't let this be the only one!!)
P.S. "Chunder" must mean something pretty bad if the subject matter of "Centerfold" seems tame by comparison. lol!
