Ness,

WOW!!!!....... Another powerful one. Spooky, sad, beautiful... amazing intensity. I'm tongue tied again. My words can't do it justice.

Your playing is out of this world. I hope I can be half as good when I grow up.

Don't stop. Keep them coming.

In awe...

Michele

Hi Vanessa, I was watching one of Muriel Anderson seminar that TG posted. At point she mentions how important it is to vary the intensity to create some waves. You are doing that very well, besides the very good control of your guitar and singing.

Another great video

Im up to 15 songs memorized now, :) im blessed with a good memory touch wood :) and i have bluffed my way through many situations with it :P

let me think a bout this, If i can remember the first line it usually flows after that its the start thats the hard part and usually songs will follow a basic pattern and repeat themselves with the second verse etc.. following that pattern with slightly altered lyrics so i look for the similarities and you have to like the song as well

what helps me i guess is and i know alot of people say dont try and sing and play at same time when learning a song, but i cant it is the singing that helps me to get the timing and rhythm of the song it helps me to find where the chord changes should go and i memorize the word where the chord changes are so i am doing two things at one subconsciuosly learning where the chord change is and what word relates to it then by doing this over and over i guess i memorize the song.

Its not something i worry about it just happens through that process not sure if that makes any sense.

Another point is that my friend who has played for 20 years and introduced me to the guitar cant sing a song without his song book. Me being lazy doesnt want to carry a song book anywhere decided to use the hard drive between his ears :) its not a very big one but works in this instance.. WHO said that???   :P

we all have different gifts i guess thats mine, but i cant ear anything, some people can listen and then know what to play i cant do that for the life of me its all noise lol

Daryl: Your two-times compliments just bléw me away.....am really really glad that you've enjoyed it so much, a big thank you to you!

Craig: Haha, am glad you weren't too annoyed by the noise! Thanks for watching and your kind words, I appreciate it!

Michele: Well your words always leave me speechless.....what can I say?! Thank you so much...

Marc: Thank you very much for noticing that! I have to admit that I don't really think about it, it's more that I 'feel' the music, not just the guitar, but also all the other instruments involved, I guess it kinda leads me how to play it, anyway thanks for watching and your kind comments!

Brad: Thank you very much Brad, you're so sweet.... Very happy that you find it entertaining, thank you! As for the singing, have to admit in this video I can hear myself holding back, cause it was already really late and I didn't want to wake up the neighbours who sleep right above where I'm playing, but I guess it was alright enough....I've read how singing leads your playing, I couldn't agree with you more, singing does lead you where to change chords or for the rhythm or whatsoever, great to see you doing that! Anyway, thanks again Brad!

Lil: What can I say....you're just too sweet...thank you so very much!

Willem: Haha, yep lets make it two days, guess we will have plénty to play together, am also looking forward to it! Thank you as well for your comments, it's great to hear that you think that it all remained balanced, because I really believe that it's important! Thanks again!
