I'm absolutely LOVIN' this thread. What a talented community!
Al pipped me at the post with Blackbird so I'm working on another that is all rusty and needs refreshing. I'll be back. Good thing this is a long-term thread.
I love this thread.
Vanessa - I've tried to coax Daryl out of hiding, but I've come to realise that it is part of his secret formula. It's like cutting Samson's hair, asking the Phantom to take off his mask or exposing Superman to kryptonite - it will sap his super-guitarist power. He's too good to mess with. Guitar magic and the ways in which is it derived must be simply enjoyed. And I for one LOVE Daryl's playing.

Sorry 'bout that Michele. I was actually going to do "With a Little Help From My Friends", but Willem beat me to it. I guess we can't snooze- or we lose.

You're right Willem. Nothing wrong with people doing the same song.
Maybe I'll still give "Help From My Friends" a try.

I was talking with Tammy about multi-tracking yesterday-- trying to help her with her new micro br toy. It definitely adds limitless potential to your rendition of a song. But it can also mask problems that you're having with a song if you're actually looking for help. That's why I'm glad there's going to be a separate section where we can upload songs for fun vs. songs for review. I personally will try not to over-produce anything that I'd like specific feedback on. (Sure, I say that now...)
What a GREAT thread and what GREAT talent.
I am so envious and I love the multitracking, I wish I could partisipate, looks like alot of fun....some day.
Very nice job everyone

Well couldn't help myself, just hád to do one more (uh...actually two
)!
And because of Neil's lesson on We can work it out, I chose to do that song and of cóurse I tried to play it as he teaches us!
As for the second song, I like playing it with different strummings and different chords as well, so I just did it all in there, hope you'll enjoy!
