Way to go Craig! :cheer:
As a PF-fan like you, I was very pleased to watch another post, but I was even more thrilled to see yóu play it! So great of you to join the busking-stuff!
And yes lots of barre-chords in there, and you're very well on your way. Pay a little attention to the timing when doing the first F-chord (at 0.57), it should come in a little faster.
I also loved your intro, just great to meet you and thanks for sharing!
Cheers

Hi Craig,
Good to see you reappear here, you've got a good solid base to build on there, especially considering the camera can be unnerving.
I'm not sure I can detect you having a problem with the barred A chord shape. Seem to me you've got that down fine.
I'm always impressed by players that do the A shape with one finger bending on the wrong side of the hinge.
Maybe the word "squeamish" describes my feeling ... like I'm expecting to hear a cracking sound.
This lesson had slipped under my radar, I knew it was up, but had not looked at the table of contents.
Wow, Neil uses this as an opportunity to give an overview of so many aspects of playing.
Thanks for this peek at your progress and also the "bump" to Neil's lesson !

Jay,
Thanks a lot. It was your gentle push that got me to post something so thank you for that too!
Vanessa,
Thanks for watching. I've posted 4 songs and 3 of them are PF tunes! Thanks for the advice on the F chord timing. I was even considering singing  ...YIKES..."Mother", but it's a little tougher strumming pattern than it appears on the surface and I lose it when I try to concentrate on singing. Thanks again, your comment means a lot to me.
Pierre,
Thanks for the positive feedback on the barre chords, I'm finally starting to feel a little more confident about them. I'm glad you checked out the lesson, there are a lot of skills that you can work on within this one (very long!) song.

Hi Craig, I think you did a fantastic job, your strumming was very good and your bar chords are quite clean. I like the timing, you did bring the song very well. Just one little thing that you might want to look at is the slides, going along with Chas on the sustaining at the end, I would add you might slide it too long. Neil seems to go back to the first fret but I think he only slides from the 4 th. Your 3rd slides is correct . You seem have chosen to prepositioned your fingers on the strings before sliding but I think you should consider landing on the strings with your hand already in movement.
Really enjoyed seeing a video from you.

Thanks a lot Marc. Your positive comments mean a lot to me. I really appreciate your advice on the slides. This is the first song that I've tried to slide into anything on, so I was mostly just trying to make sure I was on the correct string!

Hi Craig
You're doing a good job. Playing lots of Barre chords all after each other is hard work and a good way to cramp your hand.
As Marc said, try and really sustain those single notes just after the slide. They should really all ring into each other.
Great "Classical Gas" gag as well. Im sure a lot of us have been there.

Mark Thanks for watching and the comment. The slides are something new to me, but I really like the possibilities of what it can add to songs. I will definately keep working on them.
Craig
P.S. I'm going to go out on a limb here and move my Classical Gas date up from 2015 to 2014!
MJ, Thanks for watching and giving a thumbs up...or clapping hands. It all helps me in the confidence department.

Bill,
I knew you would get to it sooner or later! Thanks for watching...it is a workout but I noticed that my hand was getting in better condiditon after practicing that song for awhile.
Thanks again,
Craig
P.S. Baby steps!
