Ness,

WOW!!!! Like it?? - LOVED IT!

Way to up the ante on the responses to the challenges.

WHAT a beautiful song and you played it in such a heart-felt way. Just gorgeous. I love the bass-iness of it too.

You've certainly opened my yes to the world of Bon Jovi. And I'm sure he couldn't play it any more beautifully.

So I'm expecting you'll have agents bounding on your door any time now. Please put me on the top of the list for the album and when you're designing your concert tour schedule make sure Sydney is on the list.

ROCK STAR!

Loved it! I'm going back to listen to it a few hundred times.

Shel

Vanessa, you have quite a talent! You played softly and with feeling and your voice is really great. You need to go on one of those *** got talent shows. :)

Vanessa ... wow ... holy moley ... good golly ... how did you do that ? And what a song! I am Bon Jovi deficient, had never heard it before.

Men know that the ladies are crazy for love songs, especially when sung by polite, well-groomed chaps like the aforementioned JBJ.

But there are not that many love songs that "real" guys will actually sing by the campfire, or anywhere else, for that matter. Imagine Joe six-pack singing "Lady in Red" on a festive Saturday night. It ain't gonna happen.

But this song is different ... even Joe might give it a whirl. Thanks for introducing me to it, and especially the moving performance.

Vanessa,

That was a great performance. I loved your flatpicking technique, especially those single bass notes and the arpeggios. Just beautiful. And, as always, you really poured your soul into your peformance. You are such fun to watch!

Chris: Thanks for watching Chris, glad you liked it!

Shel: Haha, you're so sweet as usual....so mission succesfully accomplished?! ;) And yes, I like the bass-iness of it too, makes it a fun song to play! (you have to becareful picking though, playing with fingers is easier, but it was alright I guess..)
Lots of songs of BJ are so filled up with solos and all, can be done, but there's a lot missing when it's just me and my guitar. They kept this one quite 'small', so that's where I could take you up on your challenge, haha! But like I said, it's one of my favorite BJ-songs as well, actually the whole album is. However, am really réally happy that you loved it, thank you so much for your sweet and kind words!

Tom: Thank you very very much Tom, really appreciate it! It's scary enough over here uploading videos and all, people gotta have quite strong nerves to do such a show like that :P Anyway, I always enjoy your video's as well, makes me practise high-level songs again, hopefully I can post one soon enough! Thanks again!

Pierre: Wow Pierre, you make me blush...! :P So you're into BJ? Got any of their songs up your sleeve? Cause women do like men singing lovesongs for them, especially the women on TG! ;) Anyway thank you very much Pierre, thanks for watching and your kind words!

Suzi:Thank you very much Suzi, like I mentioned to Shel, playing it with my fingers is easier and especially when recording there are some nerves troubling me :S , haha! Anyway, thank you very much for your sweet words on my performance, that's so nice to hear..am really glad you enjoyed it!

Guys/girls i am so far behind because it took awhile to catch on to this busking thread so I have a lot of catching up to do, there should be a TG AMNESTY day/week where no one does anything to give everyone a chance to catch up :P besides I need to be practicing not watching all these great videos, so I blame you all for any lack of progress :)

Another thing about this site and thread is that i get introduced to so many songs that I have never heard or would ever listen to, I have just watched all these fab videos and have never heard any of them.

Michele- as was said very heart heart felt performances and extremely well played as usual not sure if this singing was before or after HG but you seemed more relaxed in this one, like playing cards with friends ;)

Vanessa- I really loved the otis song but then I saw your last post and you blew me away with that jovi song, you can tell its one of your favourites, it seems like a song you want to just want to belt out, but you controlled it well ... really awesome girl :woohoo:

who was next???

Al and Mrs Al- i liked daryls dig of equal billing  yeah Al whats up with that :P but again a tune i have never heard but really enjoyed the song and your great performance, i like lyrics you can picture whats going on.. very well done

Chris- man that seemed like take a big breath song, sounds very challenging to sing, but is no probs for you (hey we nearly beat you last night 20/20 :S ) I like how you choose obscure songs, well to me anyway, summer wine, that one with the dolls getting pricked with needles that was a weird video  but i always enjoy your videos, you need to do another duet with your daughter.....

willem- yes big credit goes to you for getting up on stage and singing that takes a lot of courage, well done

hope i didnt miss anyone

Brad,

Thanks mate. Gee you are a little behind aren't you. Don't worry I keep missing things too. I'm sure there are some I just don't realise are out there.

And thanks for the cards comment.

I'm guessing you've got a love song or two in your song book. Want to play?

Brad! I can't belíeve you're so far behind! :P

But I know all about it, it's hard keeping up, since so many members are uploading and having Busking-fun (actually, yóu're the one with the most posts these last couple of weeks, haha! ;) )

However, thanks for watching it all anyway and I'm really very glad to hear you enjoyed my (and others) posts, so a big thank you! :cheer:

Cheers
