I just added a 'how to' discussion in the TG Techies Group. I did a step by step for AVS. Will get to Moviemaker later today.

And all of them valuable, Al. Your ideas and guidance to implement them have been beacons for the rest of us to follow. TG was always fun, but because of you, it has been both fun and productive.

Now that's a genuine 1000 Al. The rest of us in the 1000 club just don't know when to not post.. we have no DON'T POST button on our keyboards. You on the other hand are always fast to help and provide real solutions, especially on tech questions. My hat is off to you, it's not TG with out you Al.

- Download Anton's youtube clip to my computer
- Import Anton's clip into MovieMaker (or AVS)

How did you download a youtube clip to your hard drive? I can obviously play a youtube clip on my computer, but how do you save a copy on your hard drive? Also, can anyone give me a figure regarding the cost of AVS?

Tammy that is a seriously good tip. I have been using another application for this purpose but tried your hint and it is very simple and fast. Thank you very much.
