I really thought that I had already commented on this video, but I guess not  ....

I really enjoyed it Pete, I think you did a very good job on the strumming and singing, very nice to watch you and to hear this tune again!

I found a version of John playing Imagine on you tube
so I thought I would give it a try. Even he called it busking, no fills no frills!

Aaaah Pete, I enjoyed it very much! :cheer:

The song fits you, playing wise, but also vocally, very sweet indeed, thanks for sharing, great to see you again!

Cheers

Pete, nicely played your voice fits in quite well, ... some timing to work out, what really counts is the mood of the song.

I'm really glad to add this mood to my evening.

By the way, I looked at the YouTube link you provided ... I recognized Jerry Rubin on stage at the far right (not a musician).
Don't know if you're familiar with Rubin, a main figurehead of the "Yippies" ... He had latched onto Lennon in order to promote the "Yippie" agenda, I ended up imagine-ing what images he was seeing and the sounds he was hearing  (hint: goes with the times).

Thanks !
Pierre

Pete,

Well done, both songs. You really inspired me on "Woman", I am going to have to give that one a try.

Thanks for sharing from a HUGE Beatles fan....what a loss to the world.
