Collaboration of ffsooo3 & jhall Homeward Bound: Originally posted in the "Busking Simon & Garfunkel" forum, another excellent guitar performance by Daryl (aka ffsooo3) with some vocals added by me.

PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

Daryl usually samples vocalists and now a great performer samples him...awesome. (Two TG favorites in anybody's book right here).

DaNG!! Do a couple more then... then burn me a CD and I'll mail ya 20-25$!
I like it better than Simon and Garfunkel, NO KIDDING!!

You guys rule...Both of you.

Hey John! I think they like us!!!!!!! :)

Thanks guys. I've always said you can fake playing a guitar but you can't fake singing. John is AWESOME!

Yeah RIGHT! As a fellow guitarist... YOU ARE THE REAL DEAL my friend and everybody knows it. Now my goal in life is to learn to finger pick like you did on this song... can't seem to find any lessons from Neil on finger picking patterns to practice though. If anybody knows where they are please let me know. Right now I'M the one who is faking the finger picking using just my thumb and index finger. It sounds OK for camp fire situations but I've been too embarrassed to upload any videos of me doing this as I'm afraid somebody will say "Hey, why don't you learn to finger pick for real dude!".

So, for now I'll just keep riding on Daryl's guitar coat tails! Keep em coming brother! :-)

If you like Travis style, try out stuff from Mark Hanson. Breaks it down into the basic patterns and builds on them with increasing complexity as you master each.

Oh yeah.. that was SWEET!

Doesn't get any better.

John there are dozens of fingerpicking lessons here. Pick a tune and get picking.
