This is my last video for a while...so here is my attempt at Best of My Love (with Rhythm, Bass, and Lead). I used the Eagles audio (mixed way down) as a guide track for myself. I have also tried a new way of blending the lead videos with the rhythm video (instead of using PIP). And I have sent this video off to John so he can put his magical talents to it!

PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

Daryl,

I lot of work went into that. This is a song I have played around with, I have the chords and tab from a Hal Leonard book. It is beautiful and fun to play and you sounded great.

I am getting a new camera and audio adapter today. I will work on my recording skills to see if I can live up to your standards!!

Thanks for the post.

See you when you return.

Matt

Very nice playing Daryl, good to see the Les Paul at work. Really enjoy your video mixing I particularly like the hammer on with the first 2 fingers on the C chord, it really gives the spirit of the song. Good idea.

Daryl,

Very nicely done. I liked the way you did the video fades. I'm sure it will be great after John adds his magic.

Oh man, that was SWEET! The fades to the lead are totally cool and definitely more aesthetically pleasing than the PIP stuff... I may have to borrow that technique for my own videos. The tones on the acoustic, and especially the lead, are spot on... great sound. You had me singing along even though I don't know all the lyrics yet! Can't wait to work on this.

That's beautiful. Great playing and wonderful mix. What did you use for the bass?

Daryl:

Killer job! I probably have the same TAB that was mentioned earlier.....lol I love messing with this song, as it is so mellow and enjoyable. Have to admit that you made it sound far superior to anything I have done with it.... B) I have got to get the mixing thing down. I have a few songs that I can strum to and also play the leads for, but I am not up to snuff wit the mixing.

Anyway, thanks so much for sharing another cover with us. Truly enjoyed this one.

Great work again, Daryl. You must have enough material by now for a full album.
