Busking in DADGAD

A while back Mike posted a video of The Water Is Wide on mandolin and it reminded me of an old arrangement in DADGAD that I'd kept but never got around to learning. So, inspired, I started working on it and at last I'm getting around to posting it.

Hope you enjoy.

PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

Beautifully played Stuart! Lovely tune really well done.

PS: Glad to see you're not in BAGDAD after all... ;-)

Stuart,

What a beautiful song. I wasn't familiar with it until I heard your version, even though it's a traditional song. I thought this sounded great and I like seeing your S&P back in action. I can't remember the last time you posted a video using it. These days your little Takamine seems to get all the action.

Absolutely gorgeous, Stuart. This sounded like one of those wonderful demonstration recordings that guitar manufacturers like to put up on their web sites to show you what their instruments can potentially sound like. Really, this was terrific, and, to be honest, I didn't know you could play like that.

Well I gotta say that it's very refreshing to just sit and watch a beautiful instrumental piece played so cleanly. It put my focus squarely on the music which was nice. Does that make sense?

Loved it.
