Crow River Waltz by Leo Kottke, in Open G tuning, tuned down four frets to Open E flat. Guitar is my old Guild D4 12 string.

rplunket, Wow!!!! & welcome Sir! That was Super-Cool! I'm go out on limb here and say Neil is gonna really dig this!! (What with him being such a Leo fan and all...He's probably overjoyed; you look like just the man to post the " Fisherman" ...with all its twenty seven parts.lol!)

I am gonna go off on a tangent and ask if you have seen the "TabPigs" website? It is a website almost exclusively devoted to all things Leo Kottke. (They are REALLY rabid Kottke fans over there...) You probably have seen it but I thought I would throw that out there...

Thanks again for this amazing post!

Wow great first video, finger picking a 12 strings is not a given. Not familiar with the song but it is a very nice ballad. Really enjoyed it

RPlunkett142r,
Hey, great job on the Leo Kottke song. I liked it a lot. especially the middle section with the slides. Great that you made the effort to down tune like Leo. Beaker.

Thank you for your kind comments...I do indeed know of the TabPigs......also have the Stropes books, which are excellent sources for
Leo's music. I try to see him every year...he is an exceptional performer.

I know nothing of this Leo dude....but I thought what you did sounded very cool. What effects were you using?

Very nicely done rp ...

I was unfamiliar with Leo Kottke until now but I did take a look at some of his work on YouTube. From what I've seen I'd say you've captured his rather unique style quite well.
This is a great addition to the Busking channel and a super job on your first upload. I hope to hear more from you.

Thanks for sharing.

That sounded pretty hypnotic. Cool.

Nothing like hearing a 12 string picked as well as you just did. Excellent performance. That was just so smooth. Thanks for sharing and great to have you aboard. Can't wait to see/hear more from you and that 12 string.
