I hope you don't mind this observation, nothing to do with the song but, has anyone ever told you that you look a lot like Errol Flynn? No kidding that's who you remind me of. :)
I've never heard that before, but definitely take it as a complement -- and so have updated my profile picture.

Really nice version of this tune, really enjoyed both the playing and the singing.

Hi Stuart,

I hadn't heard this before but really enjoyed your playing and vocals. I did check out the original and must say you did a real nice job.

I too don't know this song, but I thought your rendition was quite moving. Well sung. Thanks for sharing!

That was really, really good. If I make it California in September, will you teach that to me?

Sure, but it's really quite easy, Jay. I'm sure you'd pick it up in no time on your own. It's in Dm with chords as follows:

Verse:

Gm/D (Dm shape at 6th fret with open D in the bass)
F/D (D shape at 5th fret with open D in the bass) (2 measures)
C (played first time through with a barre on the 3rd fret and second time through in the standard open shape)

Chorus:

Bb
Am
Dm
G7
(repeat)

Bridge:

Bb (2 measures)
Am
Dm (hammer on/pull off high E/F)
