I had a friend request this cover of Big Hard Sun as performed by Eddie Vedder. It has a unique strumming rhythm to it and has now become a favorite of mine.

Hope you enjoy it,

Bud

PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

Tony, thanks for the spelling correction on the name. :P

I had a friend suggest that I bring the vocals forward more on this. Here is a revised version. Let me know which one you prefer ?

Thanks,

Bud

Hey Bud. I thought you did a real good job of that. Like many, I'm a huge fan of Eddie Vedder (no s on the end mate) and you did justice to the tune. Nice one.

Hi Buddy,

Very nicely done. I liked the second version better. The first version seemed a bit too heavy on the guitar part( both were played fine) but the second had a better balance of guitar and vocals. IMHO

Thanks for the look

Bob

There are several songs on that soundtrack that I love, and this is one of them. Nicely done, as usual. It sounds particularly good on a 12 string for anyone who happens to own one.

Bob,

Thanks for the input on this, I am leaning towards the second version as well.

Bud I preferred the 1st version on the basis that your voice is so strong I never would have felt you needed to push it forward. Seems I am outvoted though! ;) Honestly they were both very good.
