Neil's "Cowboy Song Week" really made me want to work this out. This is a definite work in progress. But has been a blast to try to pull it off. ( I think I am getting a little closer) The arrangement is certainly a work in progress, though...

There are a 2 more fairly short, but very cool lead parts that I didn't incorporate here. (WISH I COULD.) But the darn things, start over the top of the vocals. Actually I even had to abbreviate the first fill, for that reason.
I never really know what to play and what to leave out. Any compositional suggestions are very welcome!

I am sure this is the shortest version of EL PASO anyone as ever heard. But I thought I probably shouldn't subject folks to all NINE verses. LOL! (or some such thing) Thanks in advance. Adios, Amigos & Senioritas!

Looked good to me! You get around the fret board really well.

Thanks, a lot Mike! There are some places that could use a little work... But I'll keep workin' at it.

Cori,

Nice job getting around. I could definitely hear the melody coming through. I started to hum along there for a bit.

Thanks for sharing

Hey Cori,

Well that looks like fun. Nice job of moving through the parts. You maybe should lay a soft accompanyment track behind it. Classic melody instantly recognizable by most anyone!

Pass the tequila bro..................

Nice job!! Didn't know the title but certainly know the melody you were playing. Your 90% of the way there. Take another shot of courage and keep at it. Nice lead work on this.
