Very well done Dan. That is a perfect song for an acoustic solo, and you did it wonderfully.

Thanks for sharing,

That was an excellent performance Dan. Very well played and with a very mellow mood to it.
You’re sounding great and looking very comfortable with it. A solo to be proud of indeed.

I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the kind comments.

I actually hadn’t planned on making the video.

Some friends asked me to play guitar for their daughter’s wedding ceremony in October.

The bride postponed the wedding then agreed to have a small ceremony the first week of September (the cancelled October wedding was going to be HUGE).

I’ve been unable to connect with the bride – wanted to know if she liked my style of playing and if she had a request. Gave up and decided to learn “And I Love Her” last week - thinking it would be appropriate.

The bride emailed me Wednesday night (August 3rd) requesting I play and sing three songs – two I’ve never heard of, the third “You're my Best Friend” by Queen.

The video was to show her what to expect if I play at her ceremony.

She emailed me this morning and likes the guitar solo.

Wish me luck.
