Part 2, A funny thing happened at my first open mic performance

Want to know what it feels like to be standing on a stage, all eyes on you, and totally lose your concentration in the middle of your song? Then just watch this video.
I was moving along relatively well in Autumn Leaves, a song I can play (literally) blindfolded. There's a coffee bar in the same room as the stage, and out of nowhere I heard the barista turn on the steam jet to foam a latte. That's all, in my fragile state of mind, it took for me to lose focus, hit a wrong note, and then start flailing. Just when I needed my brain to be at its most alert, all I could hear was the sound of ocean waves crashing against a shore. And all I could do was to just blink stupidly at the guitar, begging it to offer up a chord -- any chord -- that would bail my pathetic ass out of this awful mess.
But no chord came to me. Just a series of embarrassing scratches across the strings ... until my brain said, "Go to the F7, idiot!" So I did. And that chord restored some order and put me back on track.
When you watch the video, you'll see that all of this takes place in a matter of about 3 seconds, although it felt like a life sentence to me. And, as is typical of me, you don't see my enormous internal struggle appearing on my face. You just see a guy who, in the middle of the tune, appears to be playing some other song for a few moments.
Daryl asked a very reasonable question in a comment about my Country Honk video: did I learn anything from the experience? There is one significant thing I forgot to mention that I learned, and it all came home during Autumn Leaves. You absolutely can not play the guitar in front of a live audience when you're distracted or scared. And becoming distracted, as in my case, can easily lead to being terrified when something bad happens.
Did anything good come out of Autumn Leaves? See for yourself. And pay attention to the one-word comment that some woman uttered at the end of the song. I didn't hear it at the time -- the waves crashing as loudly as they were -- and it wasn't until I edited the video that I heard it.
Latte anyone?
Collaboration of Dennis Autumn Leaves: This is what I look like scared.
