I don't know this song but nicely played and sung. You voice suits Kristofferson songs. Perhaps you could do a version of "Me and Bobby McGee" or "Help Me Make it Through the Night". Mighty fine looking guitar you've got there too!

Hi Stuart,
I hadn't heard that song before either. That was great! Thanks for sharing!

Well played and sung Stuart. That makes three who hadn't heard this song before. Nice sunburst guitar! B) I've just bought a new guitar myself, picking it up at the end of the week, it's also a sunburst.

WOW that was fantastic, I loved it.

Casey's Last ride is (in my opinion) one of the best songs ever writen

The poison air he's breathin'
has the dirty smell of dyin'
cause it's never smelt the sunshine
and its never felt the rain

What great poetry from one of the best songwriters of our time

and he stumbles as he's leavin'
and he wonders if the reason
is the beer that's in his belly
or the tear that's in his eye

Just terrific song writing. This is, as I think you can tell, my most favorite songs of them all. And you certainly did it justice, well done!

I would love to get the tab with the picking pattern or, I suppose I could try and work it out from your video.

Also check out John Denver's rendition of the song, he does a pretty good job of it too

thank again I loved it.

Stuart that was just super mate. I agree with others who have said how well that style of music suits your voice, and you played with effortless grace. Loved it. The Gibson is sounding beautiful.

Not familiar with this song but I like KK. You sang and played well and the guitar sounds great, congrats on the aquisition. Love the sunburst design. Nice job.
