MJ, Bob, Daryl, Jay
Thanks guys for the positive feedback. I like to show Dani the replys we get to help
encourage her to do more performing. For a seventh grade student she has been consistently practicing
and improving. Daryl I read your PM and have downloaded an app for violin to use on my phone and hers.
My New Years resolution was to lean an XMas song. Tonight I will find out more about the recital request. With her busy schedule of volleyball practice 4 out of 5 evenings it can be a challenge to schedule some free time
together.

Cheers
Jim

Really enjoyed that!

Reminds me that I haven't recorded anything with my daughter yet :(

Keep at it, Dani. It's sounding great!

Very enjoyable Dani and Jim! :) :) :) Looks like you two are enjoying yourselves. That's great. I love the combintion of the fiddle and
guitar makes me think of pre-civil war era immediately. Thanks for posting!

Merry Christmas!

Hi Cori and thanks for your reply.

We had much enjoyment together shooting the video and just practicing the song.
As long as it is fun for the child! One day we practiced over and over until Dani said
"Dad, i think I'm done!" My que to stop practice. :)

Dani and I listen to a group named DANU, a band that plays traditional Irish music.
I'll need to brush up on that style of playing.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Jim and Danielle

Jim,
Loved seeing you with Dani. Playing music with family is very special!

I've never heard that JT song before, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Really nice job on the singing and playing.

Jim, Dani ...

That you find time to play together is really the most important thing, besides the fun of watching this.

In addition to guitar, violin (or fiddle) music is right up there with the sweetest sounds for me.

Thanks for sharing !

Pierre
