Finally got around to listen to this one and I loved it! I've actually always liked this song, makes me happy (although I realize while reading the lyrics that it ain't fun at all) and smile. I could use one today, so major thanks for that! :) :) Well done Daryl!

OK, I’ve met my music goal for 2015! Hooray.

Here’s a great campfire song. Four chords.

Sorry about the cut-off head. I was using an iPhone camera and couldn’t see where it was pointing while I was recording. I’ll have to figure out how to position it better next time. Yes, I’m playing the bass too.

I’ve been taking voice lessons…. ;-)

Hi Daryl, I don't think I did this right but I put my 4 chord recording of Me and Bobby McGee here on your thread. Key of C: chords are C, F, G7, C7

Hey Sandy! Woo hoo! That's a PERFECT song for this thread. It's straightforward, but it's one lots of people know and it's great to sing along to. I was singing with you.

That was great I really enjoyed your performance. You should definitely post more often.

Thanks for sharing Sandy! :) :) :)

Thanks Michele

I'm glad you sang along with me. I really had to look way back to find that song.

That was great Sandy! You have a sweet voice. You did a great job. That's one song I can not play as I have a really hard time with the timing of the chords changes. Thanks for posting. Please post more!

good job on that Sandy. That was the first song I learned on guitar. I took Carol McComb's class called Learning to Play. In the first class, she teaches E, A, D chords, a boom-chuck strum and then a singalong playalong of Me & Bobby Magee!

you have a nice singing voice.

Thank you Jim. i can't remember when I learned this song. It's been a long time. It's one of my favorite campfire type songs.
