Lovely sunny day out with blue skies and this song fits with that mood. Here is a rendition of Sitting on the Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding.

PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

Hi Buddy,

Sunny Day, Blue skies and a nice rendition of a cool song. I started trying this tune out after Dennis posted an Otis Redding song. Not quite as far as you though and I am doing open chords.

Very nice

Bob

Buddy,

Man, what I wouldn't do to have a voice like yours.

There is an artist I think you would really like and your voice fits yours pretty close.

His name is John Gorka, great lyrics and pretty fancy guitar but playable.

Check our a song called "Houses in the Fields" on you tube....

If you learn this song and post it I will sing my next post!!!!

I know the chords and progression if interested. Key of G.

Deal?

Matt

That is sounding pretty good Buddy. I like the strumming and the vocals are great... not at all easy to sing this, that's for sure.
Watch a programme on Otis a few weeks back and I now have a much greater respect for the man and his music and this is the classic.

Maybe up-grade the intro?

Matt, thanks for introducing me to John Gorka, let's just say that you might be singing in one of your videos in the next two weeks or so. :-)

Buddy,

Sounds good to me...

John Gorka put out a pretty accurate song book with great tabs several years back.

It was published by Hal Leonard but I did a search and it is no longer available.

The good news is I have it somewhere.

All the songs on it are great.

Let me know if you are interested in borrowing it.
