Hey TG Friends,
I added this new thread after some thought. You know how when you are learning a song and you play it for someone and they have no idea what you are playing? I get that a lot and want to improve my ability to play songs that people can recognize and enjoy.

That said, if anyone is willing to go along with this concept, I intend to post songs I am working on under this new Band Name in the Busking channel in the hopes that SOMEONE will recognize what I am playing.

As always, feedback is welcome and thanks ahead of time.

On a side note, I have reached a point in my playing and my life where I don't care if others don't think I am a good guitar player. Learning this instrument is part of my life and that is all that matters to me. Of course, those on this site understand that and are a big inspiration for me.

Virgil, I know what song you're playing. And I know what you mean about others not knowing what it is you are trying to play. That's the problem with not singing along with the strumming or picking.

I get that reaction at home all the time while practicing. At least it has gone from "WTF???" to 'Hey I recognize that, what is it?". A marked improvement for me.... :woohoo:

I don't care either, and guitar has certainly become a wonderful part of my life. Great attitude.

BTW, can you take Jack, my dog??????
