Nicely done, Al and Elle Lots of atmosphere in Helen's tone of voice and Al's gentle sway of rhythm.
The song is new to me, too. Such cryptic lyrics !
It may be a distant cousin of Pink Floyd's "Brain-Damaged", but that's just one of my deranged theories.
More !

One of the many things I love about TG, this is not a song I have heard before. I really like "Little Black Submarines" now. It is always great to see 'AcousticHelen' and hear her lovely voice. Nice playing too, Al. Thanks to both of you for opening another musical door for me.

Hydro- What I said to Willem.
Pierre- You're right about the lyrics. Still trying to get my head around them!
Bill- Thanks, glad you like the song and our version.

Marc- One of these days I WILL steal the show from H.
(Can I crash at your place that weekend?).
Suzi- You're right- her voice does suit this song perfectly.
Brad- Thanks for your comment.
Rick- There's always a point at the end of our songs where we look to see if the other is happy with it. Guess we liked this one.
Jay- you'd pick this up in about 15 minutes (if you haven't already). Nothing too complicated in the playing compared to other stuff I've seen you upload.
I was actually tempted to put it in the 3/4 chord song thread.
