I did this one already (in the Busking 3 or 4 Chords thread) as a quick one take. That video wasn’t very good so I thought I’d try it again with a little more polish. But I did this one mostly for myself just to work on sound quality and as an exercise in syncing audio and video. I still need to work on my timing.

And I’d also like to ask/beg/plead others to put up more videos. It’s great fun to see what everyone is working on and to watch everyone’s progress.

Singing the Blues

Well, I (E) never felt more like (A) singin' the blues
'cause (E) I never thought that (A) I'd ever (B7) lose
Your (A) love dear, (B7) why'd you treat me this (E) way? (A) (E)

Well, I (E) never felt more like (A) cryin' all night
'cause (E) everything's wrong, and (A) nothin' ain't (B7) right
With (A) out you, (B7) you got me singin' the (E) blues. (A) (E7)

The (A) moon and stars no (E) longer shine
The (A) dream is gone I (E) thought it was mine
There's (A) nothin' left for (E) me to do
But (X) cry cry cry cry (B7) over you

Well, I (E) never felt more like (A) runnin' away
But (E) why should I go 'cause (A) I couldn't (B7) stay
With (A) out you, (B7) you got me singin' the (E) blues. (A) (E7)

The (A) moon and stars no (E) longer shine
The (A) dream is gone I (E) thought it was mine
There's (A) nothin' left for (E) me to do
But (X) cry cry cry cry (B7) over you

Well, I (E) never felt more like (A) runnin' away
But (E) why should I go 'cause (A) I couldn't (B7) stay
With (A) out you, (B7) you got me singin' the (E) blues. (A) (B7) (E)

Daryl,

Nicely done. I guess I missed it on the 3/4 chord thread. I'll have to go and check it out. Hopefully I'd like to be posting up something soon.

Bob

So I went and checked it out. That was 10 Months ago Wow where did the time go and my brain :P I did see it and if I am not mistaken that's when we all got to see the man behind all that great playing.. :)

Really enjoyable, Daryl. I can't remember if you sang on the original, but I enjoyed hearing your voice on this version. Keep it up!

Good stuff Daryl. Imagine how much better you would sing if you had a head!

Kidding...but not really...show your face...it ain't that bad.

This is a really cool old tune. Who did it originally? You do have a nice voice for it.

Thanks for the look.

Hey Daryl!

That was a lot of fun. :) nice movement in the bass line. It makes me want to pick up mine. I always LOVE it when you sing too.

There's just one thing missing...no give me a second I'll think of it, ... It's on the tip of my tongue... Something about a mask... Oh I'll just let the others say it. ;)

I'm sorry it took me so long to get to this. I did myself a disservice.

Nice! You've made my work lunch a smiley one. :) :) :)

Thanks. I love your work.

Shel
