My wife Sue and I have befriended and come along side a number of people who are trying to overcome their addictions to drugs and alcohol. Each of them were abused as children and they have had a lot to overcome in their lives. Three of them are now celebrating being off of drugs and alcohol for close to a year and it is such an amazing thing to see how their whole lives have changed. To see them living in freedom and joy for the first time in years is such a gift.
When I first heard this song by Big Daddy Weave it struck such a deep chord for me after seeing the courage and the struggle of these folks to overcome their addictions. Hope you enjoy it as well, Bud

Buddy, I don't know that song ... deep water, there. Gotta put on those rubber overalls to wade into it ...
I enjoyed it, a warm performance ... oops, there's a leak in these boots ...
