Hi Rick, that was a swell performance and I have to give a thumbs up. Smooth delivery, lotsa technique, and all
I do wonder how the mood, or emotion, of this tune is affected by such a jazzy (hurried ?) delivery.
Like, what would the emotional pull on "Puff the Magic Dragon" be with this approach ?
Another example is Israel Kamakawiwoʻole's (cut and paste that name!) version on ukulele.
It is up-tempo, but manages to stay with an innocent, childlike feel.
I hope you don't mind this kind of advice. Myself, I'm just happy just to get through any song without messing up.

Rick I really enjoyed your different take on this classic song. The energy and lift was cool.
From the looks of things music is a big part of your life. Are you a professional muso? A percussionist perhaps?
I really enjoyed your singing on this too.
Nice one.
