Willem,

It looks (and sounds) like you have a lot of control over that thumb pick, which is more than I can say about my own attempts to use it. Good job. And I agree with Ness that I'd like to see you alternate bass strings a bit more. It would add some variety to the song.

Thanks Dennis,,after Nessa suggestion I gave it a go and its a good practice for improvement with the thumb pick,,it sounded nice too..

Hey Willem, hope your cold improves soon... I think you may have passed it on to TG-ers with that opening sniff! ;-). Nice work with that thumb-pick.

Sounds like you use the thumb pick very skillfully.
The balance between the bass notes and strumming seems appropriate, I.e. the bass was emphasized, but didn't overwhelm the treble.
Nice!

thx

So now and then I try to manage the thumb pick and it started the first time with this song(its very slow) but I did'nt use it while perfoming it at the party..

So now and then I try it on ''deep river blues'' ...

I also found on the tube a interesting practice piece....

Still searching for the comfortable pick

Your thumb has a mind of it's own it just keeps going.
I am trying thumb pick after seeing your video, my thumb still needs plenty of training.

I think the one I have is too tight and cuts into the thumb....( a medium).
I thought i was okay when I bought it, though the large would be too big :S
