Really fun to play. Played it over a You Tube backing track with vocals. Jimi was a genius!

You're getting there Mike. Purple Haze is one difficult song to play. What always amazes me with songs like this is....how did they EVER come up with it? Sure the progression may be simple enough but how did he come up with the chord voicings, and the riff, and that whole solo thing. Amazing. Anyway, you're well on your way. Just watch your timing....you either got ahead of or fell behind the backing track (I couldn't tell which).
BTW You've got a stunning guitar.

Good playing Mike, I always liked that song and you are doing a great job. Your solo was particularly good.
