Ten years ago today a great songwriter left us way too soon.

Here's "Carmelita", one of my favorites...

Rest in peace Warren!

Very well done Jeff! I think this one's your best performance so far. Nice playing and singing. What did you use for the harmonies?

Willem, Hydro, Chris, Daryl & Craig - thanks so much for the nice comments.

Willem - it’s an easy one to learn - E, B7 and A and you’ve got the whole song.

Daryl - used a TC Helicon Harmony GXT for the harmonies.

Thanks,
Jeff

Here's another of my favorites from Warren, "Lawyers, Guns and Money".

Sorry about the video - my camera inexplicably stopped recording towards the end of the song. Guess it had seen enough.

Jeff

Bummer about the video portion of your performance. But the audio was another good job! Thanks for sharing. BTW How are your gigs going?

Thanks Daryl!

The gigs are going great. Our trio (Mile Marker 1) is off for September, but we have five gigs booked between two different venues during October and November. it's been a lot of fun. Nothing as far as solos - been focusing on the trio - but will probably try to get one or two solo gigs set up soon, just to mix things up.

Jeff
