Haven’t posted in awhile. Just got a new custom Taylor with a 1 7/8” neck. Thought I would share my latest project.

Dan- fantastic job on a tough tune. I love Dave Brubeck and this is the best. Do you have the tab for that? I'd love to give it a shot.

Again, great job and I love your new guitar. Sounds great!

Cheers! :cheer:

Thanks Guys.

I purchased the tab from Jorge Nolla for $4.30.

I always have to tinker with his arrangements. He is a classical guitar professor and typically some of the left hand fingering can only be done holding the guitar in the upright classical position.

Unlike Neil’s arrangements who holds the guitar like we do. Looking forward to starting a new project. I’m leaning towards Neil’s arrangement of Classical Gas.

Nice job Dan! When I saw Take 5, my 2014 conditioned brain said, what? A boy group song?! Then my 1960s brain kicked in and I had to check your post out. Well played, as always.

Chris,
That's hilarious! I thought the same thing.

Dan,
That was really cool. It sounded great and I really enjoyed it.

Dan,

Nice job on a catchy tune. Good "Pinky" work too! My pinky doesn't always cooperate! Thanks for sharing and congratulations on that new guitar!

I’m still experimenting with strings. I‘ve had the guitar just a couple of weeks.

My last Taylor 614ce was happiest with Martin FX, switched between Light and Medium Light.

This guitar came with Elixir Hd light, impressed with the bass.

Made the video with Martin FX and not happy with the sound – the Elixir HD’s were better.

D'Addario EJ16 will go on in the next couple of days (they were to bright on my last guitar). I also have a package of the new Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze to try.

The workmanship on this guitar is far superior – beautiful woods. I can see / feel the difference from the ‘custom shop’.

Thanks everybody on the complements.

Dan, congrats on this ... finger ligaments are just great, aren't they ?. Especially on the pinky.

And your responses contain interesting guitar-geek info, too.

Thanks !
Pierre
