Here’s a fantastically simple song. Four chords (I vi IV V with the bridge/chorus a simple rearrangement of the same four chords - vi IV I V).

So far, 2 videos in 2 months. Will the trend continue? It’s hard to say, but stay tuned! ;-)

INTRO: I vi IV V

This magic moment so different and so new
Was like any other until I kissed you
And then it happened it took me by surprise
I knew that you felt it too by the look in your eyes

Sweeter than (vi) wine
Softer than a (IV) summer night
Everything I (I) want I have, when (V) ever I hold you tight

This magic moment while your lips are close to mine
Will last forever forever till the end of time
Whoa..whoa..oh..oh.......Whoa..whoa..oh, oh
Whoa..whoa..oh..oh

INTERLUDE:

Sweeter than (vi) wine
Softer than a (IV) summer night
Everything I (I) want I have, when (V) ever I hold you tight

This magic moment while your lips are close to mine
Will last forever forever till the end of time
Whoa..whoa..oh..oh.......Whoa..whoa..oh, oh
Whoa..whoa..oh..oh

Here’s the original video I was working with:

Gotta love Lake Street Dive. Going to join me on the Harbour foreshore? :) no snow to shovel.

This is a fun song and I love the variety in your playing. The muting is really cool as are the flourishes and prominent bass stuff.

Nice one. Great energy. But where's your head?!? :p

Tom - Thanks. I've always liked this song. I never knew it was so easy to play!

Bob - Thanks. Dynamics? Yep. I was just trying to follow the band.

Kevin - Thank you. Yep, I was in a groove. Please do join me in my monthly adventure. Hopefully others will too. Tom? Bob? Jay? Michele?

Jay - Thanks. Not sure if you should be watching my "techniques" as I have always said, "I just hack away at the guitar".

Michele - Thanks. And yes I do love LSD! Are you planning on going? Yes, this is definitely a fun song (and a happy too). Regarding the "missing head"....I am now using an iPhone as my camera and can only "guestimate" on it's positioning. My focus has always been to get the camera as close to the hands as possible so people could see what I'm playing. But now-a-days I do try to back up a little so people can see my smiling face as well. I guess I still need to back up a little more.....

Gorgeous playing, Daryl. Watching your right hand is like observing a strumming clinic. Just perfect. (Hope your other hand doesn't feel left out.)

Hey Daryl, always a pleasure to watch your videos. That melodic strumming of yours is very inspiring.
