I’m still trying to do one video a month. Here’s my 3rd one (just in time). Neil inspired me to give “Because” a try. I had never played it before, but for the life of me I could not get my hands to go from the C#m to the barred D#m7-5 like Neil does. My fingers just wouldn’t do it. So I cheated. Sorry Neil.

And as you all know I can’t sing and certainly can’t do harmony so I got 3 of my friends to sing for me. Hope you like them!

Intro: Am Am Bm7-5 E/B F Am F7 F13 Bb Bbdim

Be(Am)cause the world is round, it turns me on (Bm7-5) (E/B )
Be(F)cause the (Am) world is (F7)round (F13) (Bb) Ah (Bbdim)

Be(Am)cause the wind is high, it blows my (Bm7-5)mind (E/B )
Be(F)cause the (Am) wind is (F7)high (F13) (Bb) Ah (Bbdim)

Love is old, love is (D/A) new
Love is all, love is (E7)you

Be(Am)cause the sky is blue, it makes me (Bm7-5)cry (E/B )
Be(F)cause the (Am) sky is (F7)blue (F13) (Bb)Ah (Bbdim)

Am Am Bm7-5 E/B F Am F7 F13 Bb Bbdim

Daryl,

That sounded great!... I started on this one the day the lesson came out! It's coming along but I still muffle some notes...mostly on that darned D#m7-5!!! I always enjoy your posts... very well done as usual!

Craig

P.S. Those friends of yours aren't too bad either! ;)

Good job Daryl. your song sounds really pretty. It's nice to be able to play along with the recording.

Sandy - Thank you. Technically I wasn't "playing along with the recording". Here's what I was playing along with.....

Craig - Thank you. Yep that damn D#m7-5 is only possible for the superhuman guitar players. :-(

Vanessa - Thank you! High praise indeed.

That's pretty cool Daryl, you just singled out the vocal part. It sounded like you would really have to keep your timing consistent in order to keep up with the vocal part.

Stunning!

I love everything you're doing in there, including the solo which I assume if yours too and is really lovely.

Your friends are OK too. :)

Lovely.
