Nice work Andy, well played sir! Never heard that before, reminded me of Peter Starsted a bit. Very nice job on the picking. I like a story telling song. Thanks for posting and I hope you will post some more soon. How did you record it?

Hi Andy,

Well delivered, and it's obvious that you are having a good time at it.

You are probably familiar with the artist Jez Lowe, since he is English / Irish ?

Jez Lowe is a real master songwriter/performer, and your voice would lend itself quite well to anything he has produced.

Have fun,
Pierre

Hi All,

Thanks for those kind words: :) I'm looking forward to seeing you all again.

I used my new video camera a Crocolis ExtremeCam for the recording. The sound with the internal mike isn't up to a full recording set-up - but it sure is simpler to set up!

Jay Turner - I saw him at a folk club many years ago and bought three of his albums including 'Sketchbook' from which 'The Arms of Love' is taken. He's pretty much disappeared from the UK folk scene now after marrying an Aussie girl. Google 'Jay A Turner' Some of his other songs are quite good.

Jez Lowe - I haven't heard of him, must try some of his stuff on Spotify.

Off to see Dave Nach in concert with Al Stewart on Monday.

It'll be great to see you at IGC later in the year.

Cheers

Andy
