Wonderful collaboration you three! I had a ring-side seat on this one so I was able to watch the developments on this lovely song. Great work by you Tom on managing the project and taking the ball and running with it. Great piece of song writing by Corina and magical voice blending with Claire. So, what a wonderful project and end result! Pizza and Karma points all round! :-)

Hi Tom

You're melody was so pretty Tom. Creating a melody is the hardest part for me. Even learning a new melody from a song that I haven't heard before can be difficult sometimes.

It's really amazing that we can even collaborate music videos together across continents. It seems like a daunting task. But, it really came out nice for you guys. beautiful job. :)

Sandy
Thanks Sandy,
The melody just came, it was inspired by the words I read in the poem. Can't explain it better than that.

What a fantasptic idea, fantastic project, fantastic result!

Corina, Claire, Tom, the three of you make a good song writing team. The melody was very nice and the soaring vocals and gorgeous harmonies gave me goosebumps; very moving.

I couldn't quite make out all the lyrics (some fuzziness on my end), but it felt deep and intense.

I imagine Corina has more poems that can be transformed into songs. Now that you've shown us what you're all capable of, I'm hoping there will be more original songs coming our way in due course.

Go team! Fantastic!

Shel

Hi Shel,
just realised I need to learn to spell! lol!! Never mind here are the words and chords to the final song. I should have posted these earlier but I've been playing with my new drum and Bass machine. B) :) a Boss 880 DR.
:) Hopefully the formatting works, if not the chords will not be in the right place.

Tom N. Edit: yep the chords are in the wrong place. :(

"Beautiful Madness"
Verse 1
am F G am
Touching your spirit Way up in the sky
am G F am
You reached for my heart like no years had gone by.
am G F C
With my eyes closed I saw your radiant light
am G F C G am am
Oh beautiful madness at very first sight.

(Chorus)
C dm
Will you find me, will your light blind me?
G am
can I leave this madness behind me?
C D
For I will take you on a journey
F G
they only talk about in love songs
em dm
For I will be your promise,
em F G am am
yes I will be your love song.

Verse 2
am F G am
Grey turned to brightness When I touched your gentle soul
am G F am
I wandered through the desert searching to be whole
am G F C
You reached out your hands and wiped away the scars
am G F C G am am
lit up the darkest night blinded by the stars.

(Chorus)

C dm
Will you find me, will your light blind me?
G am
can I leave this madness behind me?
C D
For I will take you on a journey
F G
they only talk about in love songs
em dm
For I will be your promise,
em F G am am
yes I will be your love song.

Verse 3
am F G am
The ancient words were whispered with tenderness in mind
am G F am
You gave me sight and senses, no longer deaf and blind
am G F C
We listened to the blissful music that only hearts can hear
am G F C G am am
When sharing true awareness and loving without fear...

(Chorus)

C dm
Will you find me, will your light blind me?
G am
can I leave this madness behind me?
C D
For I will take you on a journey
F G
they only talk about in love songs
em dm
For I will be your promise,
em F G am am
yes I will be your love song.

Don't worry Tom, not many people can spell "fantasptic" properly. But sometimes you've just got to say fantastic+(Plus - p for short) or fantasptic. :P. .... Hmmmm... Maybe I'm confusing it with a great tasting gelatinous dish that my Polish neighbour used to make. :D

Either way the song was great!

Thanks for posting Corina's lyrics too. WOW! Way to shoot for the heart Corina!

Thanks for sharing. This is inspirational stuff.
