The Other Side of the Wall - David's original song - a collaboration

Hi everyone,
A few days ago, David posted his response to Neil's songwriting challenge #3. Personally I was blown away by the beautiful song he'd created. On the first listen, I started hearing other instruments. In the shower I found myself singing it. In short, I was absolutely enchanted and inspired by it.
David has been kind enough to let me add to his beautiful creation. We've been collaborating over the last few days to produce a version with some additional accompaniment.
We hope you like it. I strongly suggest you listen to it through headphones. Hopefully the sound levels of each track are OK and balanced. Once it was on YouTube the bass became very loud and I needed to redo it.
BTW - David's on fire. Now that he's discovered he's a song writer his brain is rejoicing in creativity. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of his songwriting wizardry in the near future.
Enjoy.

The Other Side of the Wall
I'm feeling the rhythm, I'm feeling the beat
I'm hearing the music, the rise and the fall
When we sang together, we played it so sweet
We had the key to it all...
Down by the shoreline, there's a woman in white
I'm thinking of Beeny, and I'm trying to recall
When we went together, was it day or night?
it's cold and you're wearing a shawl
Bridge 1 (Gm section)
One thing's for certain, I ain't been here before
This I can say easily
There's a man at the window, he knows me for sure
But he's not smiling at me...
verse 4 (Dm..)
There's someone behind me, I can feel them go by
But I can't see them at all
Now I look through high windows, there's a hole in the sky
I'm thinking someone is gunna fall
Bridge 2 (Gm..)
One thing's for certain, I ain't been here before
This i can say easily
Every man has a centre, every man has a core
We all find our own way to be free...
Verse 5 (Dm...)
Now some things are simple, and some are discrete
Some things ask a question of us all
When you look through high windows, can you still see me
On the other side of the wall ?...
