Thanks Bill, I will investigate bottom! Yes that's my BSG Dread 27F! Yes through the Roland AC60 amp. Yeah I kept the volume low... its past midnight here... :-). Thanks for tuning in!
Chris,
I went back and listened to this again with my volume cranked up. It really does sound great. The camera picks up the sound well. Very clean with a good balance of low, mid and high. I checked out the Sennheiser 421 II. A nice mic indeed. Someday I might replace my Shure SM57 with one.

Thanks Kev. Should be more on the way later.

Here's a sound check just with camera and without being plugged into the amp:

Cool,, also on this video is your sound very good. It is a great cam cos you're ready at ones, no more editing with video such as add a sound track from a taskman or boss micro recorder and try to get it in sycn.

Very nice one Chris, cool song! (now I find it even harder not to be able to jump in and jam along.... :( )

I was indeed curious how it would be unplugged and such. Sound is really great!

So how much space does this memory card have? How long can you record before it's full?

You are exactly right Willem, no more messing around with the Tascam and syncing the sounds, saves me an hour or two! The Sony does it all.

Hi Vanessa, I had to get the memory card separately as you know so I got a Sandisk Extreme for 26 bucks with 32 Giga. Should be good for a couple of hours recording. The Actor is almost 5 mins long and used up 1/2 a Giga, so there would be room for another 63 videos of that length, so it should do the trick. You can get 64 Giga cards if you like!
