The sound of AMERICA was a huge influence on me to pick up the guitar and learn to play it. Riverside is one of their very first songs and is the song they opened many of their gigs with. Took this on holiday with me to work on and I am slowly getting a handle on it but need to smooth out bits like landing on that F after the bass run and getting the right hand to relax better into the groove... but its coming along....

Thanks for tuning in Craig, Bob, Jim, David and Sandy. Uploading a video causes you to watch it through several times as you edit and upload and through watching I already noticed a number of things that I could improve on and have already tried them out out. So, 2 hours later I have already improved a step further. Its fun to make progress like this!

Hey! Who IS that man playing with a pick so proficiently!?! He looks familiar... :)

Gosh Chris the progress you've made in the playing with a pick department is awesome. You'll have that fast bass run licked in no time.

I always enjoy your videos. This one's no exception.

Thanks for showing us what you're working on. I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Nice job on this song Chris! I love your "studio area" as well. Very nice area for relaxing and playing your guitar.

Very nice Chris, real good America sound especially this sequence of a kind of a D with a b base alternating with a short bar on the second fret. Good singing of course. From your second post, what did you find to do better or different after practicing some more? Show us
