Hi everyone!
Well this is number...nine I think. One more and we're calling it an album.
This one is inspired by... well I'll let you speculate on that one.
....aaaand if you're wondering whether you're on the right website, Totally Guitars rather than Totally Keyboards, well there ARE guitars in here you just need to be a little patient. David and I swapped places this time. I was giving him a small, but well deserved break; in front of the camera anyway.
We hope you enjoy our latest offering. As usual we had fun.
Mr Teflon
Sticky situations never catch him by surprise
Sticky situations just don't arise
Troubles slide right off him, before your very eyes
They call him Mr Telfon
It's never his fault, he's never to blame
He always seems to dodge, any such claim
A slippery guy, who's earned his name
That's Mr Teflon
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Slippery, slippery, slippery, smooth
Nothin' sticks, nothing stains
You know his name.
He's a slimy fella, a sly dude
He'll make a mess, and leave it for you
He won't own up to the wrong things he'll do
That's Mr Teflon
A million excuses he used them all
A master of letting others take that fall
You'll hear him say "I just don't recall"
Slippery Mr Teflon
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Slippery, slippery, slippery, smooth
Nothin' stick, nothing stains
You know his name.
He escapes the blame, like a speeding train
He leaves a mess, but will never confess,
He accuses the dog, anyone who comes along
Slimy Mr Teflon,
Just a lucky guy or a master of the slide
Who's the real Mr Teflon?
Just a lucky guy or a master of the slide
Who's the real Mr Teflon?
Collaboration: Mr Teflon - The Time Zone Zombies
Well, you've TOTALLY outdone yourselves this time. Absolutely BRILLIANT. David your solo guitar playing was perfect for this song. Well done! Michele, loved the sonic arrangement. Very well done, indeed. Loved the clarinet, the piano playing, and the hand clapping. And your singing.....truly is the best I've ever heard from you.
Keep them coming!
Keep them coming!

My oh my......I am extremely impressed!!!
That was fantastic and cool in every way! You two have the knack of making every addition (whichever instrument or backing vocals) fit the song exactly right.
I need to say it as well, that was just brilliant!!
WOW!

Wow, thx so much Mark, Daryl, Willem and, of course, Ness
Well this one has been a special pleasure for me, cos i've had my feet up most of the time haha... I loved Shel's song from the very first demo, such clever lyrics and she arranges songs so brilliantly.
Hmm the Pink Panther??.. well maybe.. I'm not sure that i actually know who Mr Teflon is, in this case only Shel can tell

Michele and David,
Your best yet. Loved the arrangement and the lyrics!!! Well done!!! Pretty funny/ironic too. We all know his name...Mr. Politician. I'm glad you got The Donald in the mix, couldn't miss the hairdo. This was so entertaining. A real musical political cartoon.
Michele you've outdone yourself, the piano, the singing, all of it just great.
David, loved the blues noodle.
Bill

Mark, Daryl, Willem, Nessa, Corina and Bill,
WOW! That's a lot of exclamation marks. . I've LOVED reading every one of your comments. These projects have been a bit all consuming. I've been using them as a sleep replacement program . So it's absolutely WONDERFUL getting such overwhelmingly positive, encouraging and uplifting feedback from you all after we've put our hearts and souls into these songs.
I'm a little speechless I have to say. Which doesn't happen often when I'm writing.
I might leave it at that for the moment except to say Corina! Hey babe don't worry. This crazy train has just gotten started. We ain't stoppin' yet! We're just planning to pull into Reflection Station to celebrate what we've achieved in the last six months. We've got more than enough song sketches between us for the next album already. besides... we need to work out a way to encourage a couple of beloved Dutchies to make guest appearances.
So stay tuned for the next episode of two bonkers zombies from opposite sides of the globe. we'll be back! (Gruff with a smirk).
Thanks everyone! You're the best audience a couple of zany zombies could have. :woohoo:
