Two separate guitar tracks (left & right), one bass, 2 lead guitar tracks, 1 vocal recording duped into 3 tracks loaded with effects. It was a lot of fun to work on this one but with such a simple bass line and lead lick I didn't see a need to do the PIPs for them. And as far as video recording my vocals.....forget about it.

Here's the one I posted in the 3- or 4-chord song thread.....
Here’s a really simple 4 chord song (D G A and Bm). Paul Thorn plays it in drop-D tuning. I did it in both standard tuning and dropped-D. I know some of you don’t like all the bells and whistles a DAW provides and would rather see a pure/live video performance, but for me I like to try and hide my flawed playing and singing (especially the singing). So in this song I’ve got 3 acoustic guitars, 1 bass guitar, 2 lead guitars, and 2 vocals (expanded to 4 by way of effects). But I just couldn’t bring myself to do all the PIP work for such a simple 4 chord song…..

It’s always fun to collaborate with you. After Michele did “All My Loving” with me I wanted to do another song with her. She kindly said “yes”. So I went searching for a new YouTube friend. And I found this great song by my new friend Paul Thorn that I just loved and thought we could do something with it. So I asked Michele to come up with a bass track and I’d do my usual rhythm hacking and attempt a small solo to fill in the interlude. What we ended up with is beyond my wildest dreams.
