Wow Bill, now that's some beautiful playing and swinging. I love the lyrics in this song and you brought them to life. The power of forgiveness in such a graceless age.

Bart - Thanks for your comments. Actually I intended to play this a 1/2 step higher but forgot to put my capo on the second fret.

Bob, David, Chris, Craig and Buddy - Thanks for your kind comments. I appreciate the feedback :)

Pierre - No offense taken re: the windy comment. I knew what you meant. My breath control comes from playing the trumpet in my youth. You can't play a horn without diaphragm and breath control. B)

Thank you all for listening and your comments.

Bill

Now as you can imagine, loved to see your rendition of this beautiful song! :cheer:

And you've very well made it your own. Funny, i did think you could even take it up a little and now I see that you had intended to do that, but obviously forgot to adjust the capo. Still this sounded really great, don't get me wrong at all.

I'm really glad that I inspired you to try it out and in general to make songs fit your own range. Thank you very much for the kind compliments in the lesson-thread. :)

I actually hope that more males will be inspired by your video to tackle this song and sing it too. You proved that it certainly can be done!!

Many thanks Bill, big hug to you!

That was quick Bill! :)

I enjoyed your version. I particularly enjoyed your singing. You've got a great voice, especially for songs with feeling.

Nice one.

Thanks Michele,
I really appreciate that. I may just do this again but 1/2 step higher in key.

Hi Bill,

Very nice that the lesson from Ness inspired you to do this rendition.
The quality of sound is indeed better than via YouTube, hmm...

Thank you for posting another great song.
Always a pleasure to listen to your uploads.
Corina.

Well done, Bill. B)

I like the 'walkdown" parts, too. That's something I need to learn to do.

Are you using a bit of reverb effect on the vocal? It sounds very good.
