Another direction Daryl, no CSN or CSN&Y involved. :)

For song 2, I needed a male to sing the lead. The difference in range between the verses (low) and chorus (high) is huge, so I couldn't do it all myself. And when we were planning a get together with Chris again, it suddenly hit me to ask him for it. I just knew he would do a fantastic job on it (the verses and lower harmonies for the chorus) and so he did!! Also, remember my teenage years were in the eighties. :)

Fantastic job is absolutely true. I had the great privilege of catching CCNess live (via Skype) very soon after they had finished recording both songs. Ness' playing is always wonderful of course, but OMG the harmonies between the three of them were just gorgeous and seriously gave me goosebumps. I even got to chat to the superstars a little before and after the concert. How lucky am I? Chris was indeed talking about the beautiful picture postcard surrounds, tulips, canals, windmills, people on bicycles everywhere, three meter talk Dutchies, but no clogs. And Corina was her very sweet self.

It was a big surprise to bump into them when I Skyped Ness on the off chance she might be home and awake. I think I was dumbstruck for the first 30 seconds because my brain hadn't received any coffee yet and I wasn't sure if the image in front of me was real. It was a magical experience. Thanks so much Ness, Chris and Corina for my impromptu little concert. I'm still smiling.   :) CCNess is awesome !!!

Well done Willem, guessing the group correctly on song 1.

On song 2, no one is even in the ball park yet so its going to fun to see the surprise when its released as a lesson, as I said, its a cracker! It was one of the biggest songs of the 80's and its not on TG as a lesson yet.... no more clues for now.

Might it be a "continental" song written by a dog? ;-)
